Connectors are essential elements in the IGA solution, as they enable integration with systems, directories, and authoritative sources, facilitating the exchange of information needed for managing the user lifecycle, as well as provisioning, modification, and deprovisioning processes.
CoffeeBean provides a set of pre-configured connectors for various systems, directly integrated into the Workflows tool. When there's a need to create new connectors or update and adjust existing ones, it's possible to work within the Workflows system, using pre-built blocks and creating new integrations with target systems in an agile and efficient way.
The main workflows covered by these connectors are:
- Creation, modification, movement, activation, blocking, and deletion of users in the target system
- Creation, modification, and removal of specific access levels for each user
- Password management, when permitted by the target system
- Data reading from target systems for synchronization and reconciliation
On the target system side, connectors can be integrated through RESTful or SOAP APIs provided by the system, a direct connection via the database, or other methods provided by the system.
